The Angry Bacon – Episode 6 – Brave New Universe
Ty Jero stops by to chat up the New DC 52 and how awesome Aquaman is. Well, he’s still not awesome, but it’s awesome in how not awesome he is. He’s come full circle in how bad he is that he ended up good. Just check it out.
The Angry Bacon Podcast – Episode 5 – A Brief History on Creation
I recently took a trip to the Creation Museum in Kentucky and all I can say is wow. Turns out, it’s becoming quite the popular attraction. Check out the link for a preview of what I’m talking about. Marc Maron talks about his trip to it on his latest podcast, and my friend, Sam Evans, took a trip independent from myself. We get together to see what he took out of it that maybe I didn’t.
Stephen Hawking – Horseman of the Nerdpocalypse
Part 1 of a 4 part series. I’m joined by D J Dangler, Cam O’Connor and Issac Landfert as we discuss why Stephen Hawking is helping to ruin nerd culture by being the “smartest man in the world.”
Arte Del Console
Ruse Harstel stops by to discuss video games as an accepted form of art, grant money for educational games, Vincent’s plan to get on disability, and deer wrestling.
Geek Culture Evolution
Travis Clyburn stops by to discuss the evolution of geek culture and where it is going. Is mainstream nerdery such a bad thing? We also discuss Japan’s influence on children’s entertainment and the toys that shaped Vincent’s childhood.
The Angry Bacon – Episode 2
Classic Graphic Novels
Vincent Holiday is joined by comedian and Luke Skywalker impersonator Parker Searfoss to review X-Men: First Class and why they think graphic novels could be included in the high school required reading list.
About Me
Vincent’s comedy career began at 18 months when he sat upon his uncle Herman’s lap and asked him why firemen wear red suspenders. From there, it spun into kindergarten demonstrations of the Sledge-o-Matic and hour long campy horror movies for Spanish class. He’s been making people laugh for as long as he can remember.
Vincent has traveled the Midwest, opening for comedians like Patti Vasquez and Vince Morris, and performed in the Laughing Skull Comedy Festival. Hailed as one of the smartest comics today, Vincent’s sharp wit is matched only by his tongue.
